We have had some cool weather a week or so ago, even got a little below freezing, but it has recovered nicely.  Thank goodness the bees survived the cold.  Only wish the mosquitos hadn’t.

Sunday Still Life – Thistle and Bee

At Maplelag Resort in Callaway, Minnesota it was absolutely a beautiful weekend.  Standing outside the resort where we scrapped for 3 and a half days, I was taking in the beautiful lake when some bees buzzed near me.  I grabbed my camera.  I was treated with a stunning moment of nature. Fall is here, but the insects are not ready to go yet.
